Who's Speaking?
Beth Francois - Specialist Dietitian and founder of the The ED Dietitian
Beth is a specialist eating disorder dietitian with experience working in various settings, including inpatient and daycare services with children and adolescents and adults and more recently running her own private practice clinic - The ED Dietitian. She has experience supporting individuals with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, disordered eating and co-morbidities including OCD and compulsive exercise. Bethqualified as a dietitian from Kings College London in 2020, following completing an MSc in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition at UCL in 2016.
Beth combines expertise in clinical nutrition with a deep understanding of the underlying psychological factors contributing to eating disorders, which can often present as ambivalence and avoidance of change. Beth is passionate about holding hope for these individuals, working through this ambivalence alongside them and the fears that may be underlying this by providing a safe, non-judgemental and compassionate space.
